It is the first Sunday of the month, which means Sinful Sunday has a theme! This month’s theme is Simple Pleasures. There are a lot of simple pleasures that I have always tried to use for my self-care routines: bubble baths, wine, music, massages, cuddling, etc. But this past month, I have been digging deeper inside myself and doing some real self discovery (come back in the next few weeks as I reveal some of that). It has been easy at all times, but probably the biggest step I have made has been to learn how to become more comfortable in my own skin.
I know, I know – I write about sex and frequently post some sexy pictures, so how can I not be comfortable in my own skin. The answer is – very easily. It’s easy to cherry pick the “right” photo to post or to choose what part of my body I choose to share. What isn’t easy is being comfortable with the other aspects of my body that I choose not to share. I attended Dark Odyssey: Summerfest this year and it really opened my eyes to what it means to truly embrace my own sexuality in FRONT of other people. As I said, I will write more about this later, but I thought I would share myself in the outfit that I wore that Saturday night. I know it is still more conservative than most people, but I truly felt amazingly pretty and sexy, and that is a simple pleasure I will always cherish.
